Agent Session Explorer is a desktop app to find, read, search, continue, link to and export the sessions of your AI coding agents, before the tools delete them.
It started out as Agent Session Exporter. I renamed it Explorer when it learned to do more than export: it can now dive into a session to view it or resume it, and deep link to a project, a session or a single message within a session.
It has joined the SpecDevShip family of products, and it’s coming soon at specdevship.com, free for newsletter subscribers at launch.
It replaces two earlier tools of mine: claude-session-export, which exported Claude Code session transcripts from the command line or over MCP, and claude-exporter, a Tampermonkey userscript that exported Claude Cowork and Claude Code transcripts from claude.ai.
The first screenshot shows version 0.8 with the Claude Code session that built this site open in its viewer. The second, kept for history, is from when it was still called Agent Session Exporter, on the same session: then 32 turns, 1,992 steps and six generated artifacts, from the requirements to the task list.
