Privacy
This site collects as little as it can. It sets no tracking cookies, sells nothing, and shares nothing beyond the services below, each of which only sees what it needs to do its one job.
What the site keeps in your browser
Your theme and motion choices are saved in your browser's local storage, so the site remembers them next time. After you send the contact form, what you typed is held in your browser for that tab only, to fill in the thank-you page. None of it is sent anywhere.
The services the site uses
- Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any host, it receives your network address and the details of each request, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. To stop the forms being abused, the site keeps a keyed hash of your network address, never the address itself, for one hour.
- Turnstile, from Cloudflare, checks that a form was sent by a person. It runs only on the pages with a form.
- Kit keeps the email list. If you subscribe, Kit receives your email address and asks you to confirm it before anything is sent. Every email has a link to unsubscribe.
- Resend sends email. When you use the contact form, what you wrote goes to Corey through Resend, and Resend sends you a confirmation. The site keeps no copy, and the contact form never adds you to the email list.
- Umami counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. It records pages viewed and a few events, such as a form being sent or a video being played, and honours your browser's Do Not Track setting.
- YouTube and Vimeo host the videos. Nothing is loaded from either until you press play; YouTube videos then play from its privacy-enhanced domain. Once a video plays, their own policies apply.
The fonts are served by the site itself. After a verified contact form, the thank-you page offers a link to book a call on Cal.com; Cal.com only sees you if you follow it.
How long anything is kept
The network-address hash: one hour. The link that opens the thank-you page: thirty minutes, and it works once. Your email address, if you subscribe: until you unsubscribe. Contact messages: in Corey's inbox, not on the site.
Asking for removal
To leave the email list, use the unsubscribe link in any email. To have anything else removed, or to ask what is held about you, send a signal or reply to any email from the site, and it will be dealt with.
